Account Deletion

GaavBaazar users can delete their account directly from the mobile app. Open Account Settings, choose Delete Account, and follow the confirmation prompt shown in the app.

The app currently requires an explicit confirmation step before deletion is completed. This helps reduce accidental or unauthorized account removal.

If you cannot access the app, you may contact support@gaavbazaar.in from your registered email address or include your registered mobile number so our team can verify the request safely.

Once the deletion request is confirmed and verified, GaavBaazar will disable account access and remove or anonymize eligible personal account data from active systems within a reasonable operational period.

In-app access to your profile, saved items, listings, chats, and account-linked features will no longer be available after deletion is completed.

Deletion is intended to remove the account from active use and erase data that is no longer required for service continuity, compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.

Certain records may be retained for a limited period where necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce platform rules, or protect marketplace safety.

Retention does not mean the deleted account remains active. It means narrowly scoped records may be held where a valid legal or security reason exists.

GaavBaazar may ask for limited verification before processing deletion so that unauthorized users cannot delete someone else's account.

If a request cannot be matched to the registered account or appears suspicious, we may ask for additional confirmation before proceeding.

For account deletion help, email support@gaavbazaar.in with your registered mobile number, registered email address if available, and a brief description of the issue.

For the fastest resolution, submit deletion through the mobile app whenever possible.
